Our Offshore Trips

Off The Hook Charters also has offshore fishing options. These trips are ran on the Miss Jaqlin. This 34′ custom built boat is very comfortable and safe and will provide your family with a dry, spacious and fast ride to your destination.

4 Hour Nearshore Trolling

$650 for 2 people, then $50 for each additional person up to a max of 6.
This trip is a nearshore trolling trip. We head out into the gulf a few miles for bull redfish, king Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle and Sharks. we mainly troll the Dixie bar the nearshore gas wells and lighthouse.

 This trip is not available during Red Snapper Season.

6 h offshore tour

6 Hour Red Snapper

$1400 for up to 6 people. Federal red snapper Season for 2024 is to be announced
(Typically started June 1st )

On this trip we will mainly be targeting Red Snapper. If time allows we will also troll for King and Spanish Mackerel. We typically fish anywhere from 15-25 miles out into the Gulf in Federal waters, giving you more opportunities to catch nice quality Red Snapper.

12 h offshore tour

12 Hour Offshore

$2800 for up to 6 people. We will fish 30+ miles offshore in 300+ feet of water using electric reels. We will bottom fish for Red Snapper, Grouper, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, and Amberjack, all depending on seasons and fish migratory patterns.

This is a great trip if you are seasoned angler and looking to spend a full day on the water.

Charter Fishing Tips:

  • Dress for comfort. Bring sunscreen, a camera, sunglasses and wear soft light colored sole shoes.
  • Avoid rich food and excessive alcohol the night before. Eat a light breakfast and if taking motion sickness medication please follow directions on the label.
  • Bring the snacks and drinks for you and your group, keep in mind that light food is better while on the boat.
  • Please respect the boat and equipment. Your captain and crew have a lot of pride in their vessels and equipment can be costly to you if damaged or lost overboard.
  • Gratuities are not included in the trip price. Your Captain works hard for you and he has pride in your catch. His day starts several hours before your trip and extends hours after you are gone. Your captain will clean your fish and customers generally will add a gratuity for this service of 15% to 25%.

Charter Fishing Trip Rates

  • $50 deposit at time of booking are taken for inshore/nearshore trips.
  • $200 deposit at time of booking are taken for offshore trips.
  • Inshore, nearshore and state water rates are based on two passengers, then additional charges for each additional passenger up to a maximum of four.
  • Offshore Rates are for up to 6 passengers
  • Include tackle, bait and fishing license.
  • We Accept CASH or CARDS

Cancellation Policy

  • Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 7 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the deposit will be kept.
  • Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock

Miss Jaqlin

This boat is very comfortable and safe and will provide your family with a dry, spacious and fast ride to your destination. The Miss Jaqlin is 34′ custom built boat powered by a 375 HP Caterpillar diesel engine, is federally permitted and can hold up to 6 passengers including children of all ages. This boat also offers comfortable seating, restroom, and an area down below to rest with A/C. She is equipped with Garmin GPS and Fishfinders, Multimedia System, a livewell, user-friendly fishing gear and tackle, and a/c in the lower deck. Fishing license for all anglers are included when fishing on Miss Jaqlin.

Captain Dylan

Offshore trips are ran on the Miss Jaqlin by Captain Dylan. A native of the Alabama Gulf Coast, he has been fishing these waters for majority of his life. Before chartering he was a live bait captain. Dylan is patient and very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing, and has a passion for helping and teaching anglers.
